The 2014 Racketlon World Championships Are Here!

As you read this the 2014 Racketlon World Championships are beginning at the Surrey Sports Park.

For all those attending the World Championships, everyone from the 2014 World Championships team wishes you the best of luck and we hope you enjoy yourselves.  If you have any problems, thePlayers Information Pack will be able to help or tell you who to ask for.

For all the racketlon players who have been unable to enter the event, you are all more than welcome to attend as spectators, particularly for Sunday, when the Ladies A Final (11:45 am) and Mens A Final (1:30 pm) are scheduled to take place.  Entry is free, and looking at the draws the finals are certain to be something quite special.

We will be running an extensive social media update of the event, so keep an eye out for the official Hashtag - #wc2014 for all the latest results, gossip, pictures and news, and you can always followRacketlon News to get your daily fixes!

Live Scores

Dave Ridout, along with help from the King Of Rackets tournament team have put together a live scores feature for the World Champs.

The scores can be accessed through the following website: http://tinyurl.com/RacketlonWC2014Scores

On the first tab of the spreadsheet there you will be able to see scores for all the matches we are covering at the time.

In order to see the scores updating, you'll need to refresh your the page periodically, it does not update real-time without the use of the refresh button.

Some important caveats:

1) Please do not download the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is the property of the English Racketlon Association (ERA) and is not available for use other than viewing it during the World Championships. Please do follow the above rule as we're putting our trust in the Racketlon community here in order to provide what you'll hopefully find a useful and interesting service. If you are running a future tournament and are interested in use of the spreadsheet then please don't hestiate to contact the ERA as we'll be happy to collaborate.

2) We've tested it on various phones, tablets and web browsers, but not an exhaustive list. If you are having problems viewing it through certain media then please try another. If you are having problems viewing it then please drop me a facebook message but I can't guarantee I'll be able to give support during the tournament!

Of course results will be frequently updated within the draws on the FIR World Championships tournament software site.
