TOURNAMENT ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS - RE-ISSUE for 2012 and 2013
Step 1: Register on www.englishracketlon.org as a user (if you are already registered miss this step). This is your username and password for all English Racketlon Association tour events. Your registration is confirmed via an email link...
Step 2: Click on the tournament entry page and create a player profile. Again, this is a one off exercise. If already completed, skip this step.
Step 3: Click on the event you wish to enter and pay online.
Step 4: Register on www.resultreporter.com on the "players corner" (if you are already registered on the players corner miss this step). This is your username and password for all Result Reporter events. This is for International Events Only. You may find it useful to register on the players corner regardless. This aids the International Racketlon Federation and is free to register.
If payment is proving too difficult online then please undertake one of the alternatives. Send a cheque to:
170 Coleridge Way
or complete a bank transfer to Account: 10607673, Sort Code: 20-52-74 (English Racketlon).
Please note cheques are not ideal but should be a last resort.
So as you can see there are a series of one offs following which you have login details for two websites
Domestic Events - www.englishracketlon.org
For domestic events you don't need to use Result Reporter. Result Reporter is only needed for events which have world ranking points. The only reason we have to use englishracketlon.org for world ranking events as well is because the resultreporter website does not take payment for individual events. English Racketlon have been campaigning to the International Federation for several years and will continue to do so that payment for events can happen on resultreporter. This will make registration for world ranking events in England more straightforward and as organisers we recognise the process for new players is somewhat cumbersome and apologise to all players who get frustrated with this overly complex process.
Hopefully these instructions help alleviate any confusion on this matter and help explain why the process is the way it is.
