24-May-2012 - Manchester Open 2012 - Info/Draw/Schedule Re-Published

All entrants are asked to note some revisions to the Schedule, caused by the filling of the LSA category to capacity today. Normally, this would simply be presented at the start of proceedings on Sunday, but since the start times of the MS45 and MSC categories have been brought forward by one match slot of 15 mins, it was considered wise to email everyone again. However, since the majority of those category players are new to the sport, we trust they will arrive early enough to register and be present at the briefing at 09:45.

The player information, draws for each category, and the revised overall schedule, are still available in a single PDF document, available to download from the same URL at:

Info/Draw/Schedule (PDF)

All entrants are requested to re-download this document and double-check their start times. MSA and MSB players will be pleasantly surprised to get an extra 15 minutes in bed.

The event is now full and all categories are closed.

23-May-2012 - Manchester Open 2012 - Info/Draw/Schedule Published

The player information, draws for each category, and the overall schedule, are all now available in a single PDF document, available to download at:

Info/Draw/Schedule (PDF)

All entrants are requested to read this sheet and the event webpage to acquaint themselves with event timing, category timing and latest arrival times, and venue details. All entrants should note that given the relatively light entry levels, the first match start time has been relaxed back to 10:00, so it is hoped that this will mean not quite such an early start for all concerned.

Please note that this is a provisional draw and changes may be made, even on the morning of the event, due to the occasional withdrawal and no-show. Players apparently receiving first round byes in this provisional draw may end up playing in the first round, and are requested to arrive in time for the start of their category at the very latest. All players are encouraged to turn up for the briefing at 09:45 regardless of their category start time, especially if new to the sport.

All entrants will be emailed shortly to notify them of the availability of the document for download.

At the time of posting, all Mens categories are full and closed for entries. The Ladies A category could accept two more ladies and is still open on the website.

Technical Note: The PDF document should be accessible to all via the public domain Acrobat Reader software. Naturally, in order to view the fine detail, you will probably need to zoom in and pan around the pages.
