The British Open takes place on the first weekend in May with World Ranking Points available. Gosling Sports Park is a great facility and location just off the A1 and M25 motorways. The tournament will run with at least 4 and potentially 5 parallel matches meaning up to 25 matches will be going on at any one time involving at least 50 players. This should present quite a spectacle. This rivals the English Open at Redbridge in terms of capacity and bodes well for the future of the sport.
The hotel and restaurant are on site. The helpful sports centre staff and plenty of local impetus contribute to all the ingredients for success. Airports are also close by encouraging foreign participation (if the Euro versus the Pound was not enough).
Enter early to avoid dissapointment.
Stuart West with son, James and daughter, Danielle have been formidable thus far in racketlon competition. Danielle winning the Ladies B in her first two events and James winning the Mens B event at Letchworth.
