With Jermaine and Wingrove Manners now in the mix the tournament looks to be very strong indeed. Both players are leading talents in the field of British Racketlon.
The organisation can confirm that some of the Saturday events are nearly full and will be allocated in order of payment, as this is the fairest way to manage the entries. So if your entry is not "confirmed" either confirm your entry asap via paypal or if you are having problems with this system contact the organisation. However, bearing in mind 70 players have successfully navigated through the system which includes registering as a user to the www.englishracketlon.org website, followed by registering for the tournament and then paying on the paypal website via credit, debit card or paypal account, the process should work successfully.
Mens A and B are filling up fast. The limit will be 20 in each. Mens A currently has 15 players and Mens B has 17. However, as above the number of "confirmed" players is slightly less.
The Letchworth tournament will also be launched in the next week or so which takes place on the 3rd weekend in Feb (20th/21st). John Garland and Letchworth Tennis & Squash club hosted an event on 28th December. With a host of tennis specialists in the draw it was Neil Blake who made his way through the bottom half of the draw with some excellent performances, particularly showing his prowess in Tennis. The final v British number 3 Keith Lesser was closer than the end score suggests. Neil eventually losing out 4-21, 15-21, 16-21. However with Neil 11-5 up at the half way point in squash, the story could have been very different indeed. John Garland looks forward to inviting players to Letchworth in Feb.
