UK Racketlon

An updated entry list shows that this looks to be a tasty tournament

List of players for Letchworth Racketlon Open 2008

Players should confirm their place with an entry form and payment accordingly. Should you still wish to enter pls contact John (details below) asap.

Given the time constraints we have published, 8 is really the
maximum we can do per category. Essentially this means Class A is full
(if everyone pays). And a strong entry also (a reserve at this point
would be likely to get in (from previous experience) and paid entries should be put above the non-paid entries.

Not Possible to play Mens B & Mens C. Apologies for this, it's the first time we
have tried this format of doing different categories on different days. the reason we have kept events to one day only is so players don't have to give up the whole weekend, the reason categories are on different days is so all events can be played 21-up. The idea is that players enter the correct category so we get the right standard in each category and that each category is noticabely stronger than the one before it. Niranjan Shinoga, for example, has played 2
racketlon tournaments and should go into the C category (he finished
mid range in Category C in the British Open). Robert Hurst & Thomas Leech similarly should choose the most appropriate category (whether it be Mens B or Mens C) and on the other day play in the Mens Doubles (whether it be A or B). Niranjan could also play doubles if he wanted to instead of the second singles
category. Wingrove Manners similarly may not be able to play singles and doubles on the same day due to time constraints.

Entry status of some players on the list is subject to further confirmation

  • * Pls note players can only enter Mens B or Mens C and should players wish to play both days, they should enter a singles event and a doubles event (that do not clash).
  • ** Pls note playing singles and doubles in the same day will not be possible
