As many of your will be aware, the EU’s new data protection law, the “GDPR” comes into force on Friday 25th May.  These regulations encompass any organisation or company that collects any personal information and as such GB Racketlon Association C.I.C (the trading name of UK Racketlon) falls under these new rules. With a view to ensuring you are aware of how this affects both UK Racketlon and yourselves, we are contacting you today.

UK Racketlon & Your Personal Data
UK Racketlon primarily gathers data during the entry process for every tournament we run.  Prior to February 2014, this was through our website englishracketlon.org and since February 2014 this has been through the website tournamentsoftware.com.  A tournament organiser receives this information and uses it to ensure that players are communicated with prior to an event and for the successful running of an event.  After the event, this information is sent to James Pope.  The data is stored on a secured server behind a two-factor authentication access.  Should you wish to know what data UK Racketlon has stored on you or to request the deletion of all data stored on you, then please contact: This email address is being protected from spambots. The Newsletter
We add e-mail addresses to our newsletter service, which is run by the online service MailChimp.  As a holder of data, MailChimp are also GDPR compliant and have ensured that their users are meeting the requirements.  We will continue to use the newsletter to contact players with news on the UK Tour and information from UK Racketlon.  You may unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time, again by contacting This email address is being protected from spambots.
