World Championships Upon Us

The world champs which start this week (and first took place in 2001 when racketlon was first internationalised) hold hope for England's top players.

With the absence of Swedish Iron man Magnus Eliasson somewhat a racketlon legend, Mikko Karkainnen may look odds on to stroll to his fifth world title in a row. Doug Struthers will look to push Karkainnen. Natalie Lawrence with others like Richard Whitehouse and David Lazarus are the main medal hopes for England. The England team of Manners, Struthers, O'Donnell, Jordan, Foulds, Lawrence & Cook also have a good chance in the team event. A full review is available on www.racketlon.net
