The latest 2009 British rankings are out, taking into account the 2009 West Midlands Racketlon Open results...
Despite his semi-final loss in the West Midlands, Jermaine Manners continues to dominate the UK rankings. An interesting battle may develop over the year between Ray Jordan, Simon Whale and Keith Lesser for the 2nd spot depending upon the events they enter. All 3 have lots of points to defend at the British Open.
Thanks to his runner up position, Alex Hartley is up to number 32 after his strong performance and could well challenge for the top 10 .
Dominique Ford is up to number 2 in the Ladies after her recent runner up spot. Again the number 2 position looks very open this year.
The other categories are beginning to take shape with more events now covering these classes. Graham Norton heads the over 45s and his ability was demonstrated in reaching the Over 45s World Doubles held over the last weekend at Prague.
