There will be an English Racketlon Association Meeting after the Saturday events and presentation. Join us in the bar for a drink and a quick chat.

Please ensure you are available to play at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Due to the packed schedule, latecomers will be "scratched". If you are not ready to play, you will be given 5 minutes to report to the referee or you will be scratched and your place offered to someone on the waiting list. No refunds will be given in this instance. It is important you let us know (numbers below) if you are running late. 99% of players have paid for their events with 1% pending, thank you for this, it makes such a difference and allows us to focus on what is truly important for the event. We are very pleased with the new tournament entry system on

All matches are 21 up EXCEPT the preliminary rounds in categories with 20 players. These are Mens A and Mens B events which will be 11up for the prelim only.

Where there are 16 or more entries, only the final and 3/4 place play off matches have been scheduled for the final round. Final round matches may be played to 11up at the discretion of the tournament organizers if players wish to do so and are not exhausted. The main factor here is if there is time on the schedule without hindering the finals.

All Doubles matches are 21-Up. In mixed pairs the lady will start the squash and the man finish. In mens doubles, each pair can nominate first and second player.

All matches should conclude when a result is achieved and a player cannot be caught (i.e. before or during tennis or occasionally even squash) The EXCEPTION is Round Robin Matches which should be played out. This is to ensure that the tournament can be played to its conclusion. Queue sheets will be used to order any players waiting for tennis courts and queues for tennis while inevitable, do move along in a speedy fashion.

The organisation reserves the right to amend the draws and schedule as appropriate if injuries or late drop outs occur. Where players are noticed to be playing less games than others, we will schedule additional games where possible. EG Friendly

A range of sporting goods will be available to try out courtesy of our sponsorship deal with Carlton & Dunlop. Trophies will be presented to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as well as a selection of prizes donated by Carlton and Dunlop. If you have purchased t-shirts, Ray Jordan will be distributing these to you by post.

To give any feedback on the event please speak to Charles Eaton or Keith Lesser (we are always looking to improve). Should you wish to discuss and formalise an idea for a tournament please come and speak to Gary Tovey, Stuart Hobden, Richard Lawrence, Ray Jordan or Keith Lesser (events committee, headed up by Dominique Ford). We are keen for new events and want to schedule as many events as possible in 2009. We trust you will have an enjoyable racketlon experience and a selection will become English Champions.
